This is a 2 floor podium multi-family apartment building in the heart of Baltimore with really tight access sitting on 220+ helical piers.  This is our 2nd consecutive podium job with this customer in Baltimore.

Project: Baltimore Metropolitan Police Department
Location: Baltimore, MD
Builder/GC: Wilmot Modular

This is the beginning groundwork of a modular building, the second for this customer and one of many we’ve helped construct across the DMV. About 119 piers had to be installed with varying grades to ensure the building and beams are set at the same elevation. We’re very pleased with a quick 3-week finish for all the footers and piers.

Project: West Ox Storage
Location:  Fairfax, Virginia
Builder/GC: Doyle Construction Company

For those following along, we’ve shared the progress for West Ox over the past few Favorite Pic Emails.  This has been a unique project with under slab drainage, spread footings and connecting grade beams complimented with a 10 mil vapor barrier to seal all the joints from water penetration. Pumping was completed at a reach of almost 200 feet adding to this special build.  We’ve really enjoyed this project and it’s clear you have too voting this site a winner for a second time this year!
