Project: Baltimore Metropolitan Police Department
Location: Baltimore, MD
Builder/GC: Wilmot Modular

This is the beginning groundwork of a modular building, the second for this customer and one of many we’ve helped construct across the DMV. About 119 piers had to be installed with varying grades to ensure the building and beams are set at the same elevation. We’re very pleased with a quick 3-week finish for all the footers and piers.

Why all the stepped footings?

The plans note to step the footings as required for utilities. Pre-build is the secret. It takes team coordination to make sure all the questions are answered before our workforce starts so we can be as efficient as possible.
