Which areas does Bartley serve?
Bartley is located in Silver Spring & Denton Maryland as well as Greenbrier, Tennessee.
We service Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Middle Tennessee. In general, Bartley serves areas within a 1.5 hour driving radius (please call to confirm).
How thick are concrete driveways?
We recommend at least 4 inches of concrete for driveways. Thickness, concrete strength and placement all play major roles in the durability of concrete. An experienced concrete driveway contractor should be selected over landscapers and handymen.
Is the Bartley Corporation large enough to handle my work?
Yes. Throughout the years we have been able to handle all of our current customer’s work while taking on new work. We have grown over the years to employ over 150 of the finest construction workers and staff.
Is there a minimum job size that you perform?
We do not set a minimum on job size, though there is a minimum charge for a mobilization that is placed on half day projects.
How do I get a quote from Bartley for an upcoming project?
Once you have a set of plans created, you may stop by, ship them or email them to us. We will review the plans, ask you questions. If we are interested in the project, we will provide you an estimate.
How much money does a concrete house cost?
It varies based on design. The cost is typically 4-7% more than conventional wood construction (source PCA). But Concrete Homes save 30% or more on utility bills. Adding Insulated Walls increase the energy efficiency too. So the return on investment is typically made up in the first 3-5 years. Don’t forget that a Concrete Home offers beauty, strength, durability, low maintenance, energy efficiency, is environmental friendly, and is quiet.
