A new window in your basement can transform unused space into a bedroom or your new favorite living space. To add a bedroom in the basement you need an emergency-egress window. At least one window in each bedroom must be of sufficient size to permit the occupants to escape a fire and also to allow a fully outfitted firefighter to enter. These picture show our work sucessfully installing an egress window and window well. We can do the same for your new or existing home.

34,000 sq. ft. concrete pour in 6 hours
On Friday Dec 9 2011, Bartley’s Commercial Concrete division poured a slab-on metal-deck for a self storage in Washington DC. By starting at 2 AM, the crews were able to pour 420 yards of concrete (34,000 square feet) in 6 hours.
How not to dig a foundation – Beware of other excavation companies
Another excavator dug this basement and as you can they left very dangerous conditions for our concrete guys in the hole. In some areas the sides are 13 feet tall with even more dirt stockpiled next to the wall. So we are here today to fix everything so it is safe according to OSHA standards.
Another great looking foundation.
A great looking foundation by Rick and his crew for C.M Conlan custom homes in Bethesda, MD.

40 foot long Wall blow out
This long wall blew out during the heavy storms that we have been having. Bartley will excavate along wall, remove blown wall and replace with a new wall, waterproof, and install new drain tile all in just a few days. As you can see the wall is being supported before this will occur.
Big addition. Little access.
Stripping walls on a large addition where access was very limited.
Mitigating Rain?? Bartley tents an under slab prep
Rain typically puts a damper on our construction work, but not when you have smart construction workers. Our employees know the value of not losing a day, so they decided to construct a temporary tent so they could still continue to work on prepping the concrete slab. Innovation in concrete is something you get when you choose Bartley.
